 Our History

The New Hampshire Beef Producers Association (NHBPA) started in late fall of 2019 after a robust discussion about the future of New Hampshire beef at a UNH Extension Beef Producers’ Field Day.

The discussion clearly demonstrated the need for a formal organization that would work together to promote NH beef and focus on the specific needs of NH’s beef producers. A group of interested beef producers and agriculture service providers started meeting monthly to begin working toward what is now NHBPA.

Since then, NHBPA has co-hosted a beef cattle vaccination workshop and a webinar on common diseases and emergencies in beef cattle. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the young association continues to meet monthly and is working hard to move the organization forward.
